We offer in-store repair and set-up on Basses. We service what we sell and all new instruments include a free instrument set-up when purchased. Our rates and services are:
Standard Set-Up (4, 5, 6 & 7 String basses) - $55.00 (this does not include any strings or parts required)
The Standard Setup includes a 15 point, mini-overhaul. Neck, action and intonation adjustment (string height at nut and saddle, nut or high end choking, neck relief & action); minor nut and saddle work; tighten tuner screws and nuts; lubricate & tighten, tuning machines; adjusting bridge intonation and assessing/adjusting (height and side-to-side string position if available), general clean up; cleaning and thorough conditioning of fret board (when needed); clean pots, switches, jacks and check reliability of electronics; restring.
*** Any new bass purchased from us gets the first set-up free and any subsequent Standard Set-up for $30 discount (will currently run $25) for as long as the bass is owned by the original owner ***
Standard Set-Up (12 String basses) - $65.00 (this does not include any strings or parts required)

Super Set-Up (4, 5, 6 & 7 String basses) - $75.00 (this does not include any strings or parts required)
The Super-Setup includes a 21 point, mini-overhaul. Neck, action and intonation adjustment (string height at nut and saddle, nut or high end choking, neck relief & action); minor nut and saddle work; tighten tuner screws and nuts; replace corroded or bad parts; lubricate, tighten, repair, & replace (when needed) tuning machines; lubricate, tighten, repair and/or replace corroded or bad parts pertaining to and including bridge assembly; repair and/or replace corroded or bad parts pertaining to and including single/dual action truss-rod assembly; adjusting bridge intonation and assessing/adjusting (height and side-to-side string position if available), general clean up; resurfacing, cleaning and thorough conditioning of fret board (when needed); redrill/fill/peg stripped-out strap buttons holes and replacing strap buttons/strap locks, clean pots, switches, jacks and check reliability of electronics; restring.
